The Effect of Organizational Culture in Care facilities for The Elderly on Turnover Intention of Caregivers: Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the direct effect of the organizational culture in elderly care facilities on turnover intention of caregivers, and to examine how the organizational culture mediates job satisfaction and affect turnover intention of caregivers. For this study, survey data of 213 caregivers at 11 care facilities for the elderly in Gyeongnam were collected from January 18 to February 18, 2022, and reliability, validity analysis, average difference verification and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS Ver. 25.0. The main results of analyzing the collected data are as follows. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the higher the job satisfaction of caregivers in organizations with high development culture and group culture, the lower the turnover intention. In other words, in order to lower the turnover intention of caregivers, specific implementation measures should be prepared to further strengthen the characteristics of the organization¡¯s development culture and group culture and improve job satisfaction.
